The building of Hotel La Casona , is from the Republican period, of the French style, and has been
very well conserved.

It was constructed by Brother Luis Sarmiento, towards the end of the 19 th Century, functioning originally as a vacation home. The beauty
of the area and the big size
of the property facilitated
frequently in the spiritual
retreats. Later, with the
growth of the city, this
property remained, and
now is immersed in the
new urbanization.
